Dr. Shubhau Pal is the Angels consultant for the state of West Bengal.
After completing his Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery in 2009, he was associated with various public health programmes, including raising awareness of various communicable diseases and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and public education on primary prevention of both.
During this period he also worked as a medical officer in a trust (charitable) hospital, where he became assistant superintendent after completing his master’s degree in Public Health, in 2020.
When Dr Pal heard of the Angels Initiative in 2022, and their role in the field of public health, he was immediately impressed. He says, “This is a project which is wholesome and can have a great impact on the healthcare system, which has the need for this kind of support right now. I joined the project in June 2022 and continue to enjoy the journey. I am glad to be a part of it.”
